A tight story. The love between Cobweb and Floralinda surprised and delighted me. I liked that it took so long for Floralinda to realize her own strength, though she never really deeply questioned her own worth as a person, which was refreshing for a woman not to question that. I loved that she develops a kind of bloodlust and that's positive character development! I feel like the first part of the story, where she wasn't battling monsters at all and was languishing really went on too long, and I would've liked a bit more plot about what she did at the base of the tower.
