Bummed that this dropped back down from the 4-star ratings because the volume itself was really split between the first three issues and the last two, each section working as its own story and also looking like it had its own artists.

The first three, which focused on a more political storyline, also felt a little like a rehashing of prior events from this series, but the emotions and exploration of Kamala’s imposter syndrome and the tie-ins to Eid were well handled that I didn’t mind it too much.

The latter two issues brought back Red Dagger, which I was excited about at first, but the writing was just too much. Cringey and over the top, trying way too hard to turn a runaway train adventure into this drawn-out realization that Kamala needs to focus more time on herself.
