Children of the Mind by Orson Scott Card

3.0

Kind of a slog really. There is almost no plot, but I cared about the characters and I wanted to know the end of the story. It is satisfying in that way, but it takes too many detours and reflexions about the meaning of life to get there. The last couple chapters are better paced though. More like a 3.5 stars, but certainly not 4.
