The Door-To-Door Bookstore
by Carsten Henn
3.5 stars.
Cute, wholesome book about an old man that delivers books to his customers. He is regimented in his ways until he meets a 9 year old girl who shakes it up. I like how it all tied together in the end, with each customer having a happy-ish ending or getting what they needed. Lots of references to books and loving books.
Side note: when he’s looking for Schascha at her school it is a BIT creepy. Like wholesome friendship aside if I was her dad and I had teachers tell me an old man was searching for her at school (also pulling her out of school one day) I’d be furious too.
