The Little Book of Common Sense Investing: The Only Way to Guarantee Your Fair Share of Stock Market Returns by John C. Bogle

2.0

216 pages of redundant purple prose to convince me that index stock and bond funds are mostly overwhelmingly superior to actively managed portfolios. Did he have any other advice about common sense investing?

Very little, in the last 14 pages. Scraps of anecdotal advice, vastly inferior in rigor to the relentless graphs and data that belabored his one significant piece of advice:

Invest in passively managed index funds. There, I saved you a few hours of reading this.
