Tallstar's death is the only thing I remember from this book and the only highlight I can remember ... and I just finished it. This one was boring and nothing really happens, there is a bunch of arguing because every clan wants more, they explore around the lake which is okay and Onestar becomes a leader, though he is still Onewhisker here and a decent cat, in the next book we get Onestar or Trashstar and I can't wait for the butchering of his character to happen.
Overall this one was my least favourite one of the series. It's just so boring and nothing really happens. It's just ... there to push the story forward.
Oh and Bramblestar starts meeting Hawkfrost and Tigerstar in his dreams and Squirrelflight doesn't like that so we see the beginning of their relationship drama. I love her with Ashfur and I honestly wish that they stayed together instead of her being with Brambleclaw, at least they aren't constantly fighting and have a normal relationship.
Also Leafpaw is suddenly in love with Crowfeather and that happens over night, they talk a few times, he saves her life and bam they are so madly in love that they want to run away together - I am sick and tired of the shallow romances that happen over night.
Also Mudclaw's rebellion happens in this book I think and it's all right. Though Mudstar would've been an interesting leader and I wish that they kept him alive.
