The Third Gilmore Girl by Kelly Bishop

emotional informative lighthearted medium-paced

5.0

As a theater lover and fellow long-time Gilmore Girls fanatic, I was so excited to finally get this book in my hands. I listened to the audiobook so it felt like I was in the room listening to all of her stories. While I knew she was in the original Chorus Line cast, I didn't realize how much of an impact she and the original company had on the plot. I loved how it tied into her telling the story of her childhood with the story of her 20-30s. The stories of her times in Dirty Dancing and Gilmore Girls were equally as enjoyable. I liked the minor, but important, focus she put on how she didn't have to have the stereotypical family system to have a happy life. the stories of her relationship were super interesting, including her partner's fight with cancer and her steps to conquering her grief. This book is not to be missed by anyone!
