4.5

This book was a whole other level than the others and a whole lot more heart breaking - on top of the grief and heart ache in the first two novels.

Have tissues handy and be ready to cry.

Vanessa’s view on life is beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. She is a strong independent woman. But she is also stubborn. Adrian is a control freak who suffers from panic attacks, anxiety, and struggles to truly open up and trust others. Until Vanessa. Together they learn to lean on one another and stop trying to be the fixers of a situation.

Discussions of Mental Health, ALS, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Addiction, Foster Care, Adoption, Love at first sight, travel, holding on to hope, are all a part of their story.

I hope for a novella someday to see where they may ultimately end up.

Such a beautiful story and I can’t remember the last time I cried so much reading a romance book.
