Absolutely loved this time travel book about bringing back several historical figures to be part of the Ministry of Time in. Great Britain. Arctic Explorer Graham Gore was a real person, a Second Left Lieutenant in the Royal British Navy and part of the fated Franklin Expedition through the Northwest Passage. The Main Character is Cat, a Ministry employee hired as his Bridge to understand the modern world. The two of them discover that the Ministry’s time door goes both directions, back and forward, and that the Ministry and those within it are not always what they seem.
Time travel books really are my favorites. I loved this book for the story and the writing. I was invested in the characters and their lives throughout the story. The end was satisfying.
