This is an ARC review. All opinions are solely my own.
Hasty by Julia Kent is book four of the Do-Over series. These books can be read as standalone but I think they are more enjoyable read in sequence.
Hastings, aka Hasty, has always been seen as the perfect daughter. Until her life comes to a screeching halt that includes going to jail. Ian has always been her competition in business. Until he's the one person who can help her.
Because I had read the other books of the series I came into this book with a bias against Hasty. While I can't say I ever really liked her, I can say that she grew on me. I really wish Ian had been featured more. I would have liked to have more of his plot focused on.
It took me until chapter 12 to really like this book. This series has a strong girl power plot and that's when it came out. "The only way to have friends like these is to be a friend like them."
