The setup of this book isn’t too implausible but the details just didn’t make sense to me. I understand that it’s a private college but it really just read like a high school/boarding to school to me and I couldn’t get past that. Also, this had that distinctive fanfic quality of relying on tropes/smut to keep the reader interested and not the characters themselves. It had some really touching parts, and I liked the inclusion of the family dynamics in this book. Overall, a light, but ultimately half-hearted read for me.
