A Faery's Kiss by Ariel Marie
5.0
Noelle Bogosian needs her friend. Ryo Daerosis is willing to fight for what he wants. Jandar Yesro is also willing to fight for what he wants. It’s that beginning which will make it interesting to see who comes out the victor. Ryo is a man who is front and center – there’s no mistaking his goal. But Jandar is the opposite – he’s a man of mystery.
Part of the story reminds me of the Camelot era – and I don’t mean JFK. It made me wishing that I were a spectator while Jandar and Ryo show off. But then whom would you root for. Is this a case of good versus evil? We also have a secondary character, Marric, which made me really curious. I found myself wanting to know more about him. What is it that draws Noelle to him? Sad part is that I couldn’t find out if we will see him again. The only way to truly get an answer to that is to follow the author.
The author does a great job of creating tension between these three. We also see that the heart wants what it wants but Ms. Marie doesn’t leave it there so you’ll want to get comfortable. It’s a story that would be great to read all winter long – not just the holidays. But it’s also one that you could read any time of year. It’s one that I can see myself reading over and over. Yes this has a mature rating due to a couple of explicit sex scenes but for me it’s a truly romantic tale. Even though this genre is listed as paranormal, you tend to forget that while reading. I look forward to reading more of this author’s work.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
