This was easily one of the most boring books I’ve ever read. I GET why people like it - I do, but it was not worth the 450 pages and DAYS (because holy shit I was bored) I spent reading this.
+/- The devil is the most interesting character. Which is crazy. It’s a story of a girl selling her soul, living for hundreds of years, and traveling the world, but the devil is the most interesting???
- Eurocentrism
- Discuss: lack of heavy topics for a WOMAN WHO WITNESSED IT ALL.
The fixation everyone had on and joked about Addie wanting to be a tree after she dies was outrageous. Eco-caskets are fantastic.
