What a sly little book…. I love it. I’ll need to read it again and soon to fully understand it I think but the writing is brilliant and the concept fascinating. Picked this up from a display of “reimagined fairy tales” at the library (which I am a sucker for) and it exceeded my expectations. I haven’t read a book like this and I’d like to check out more of this authors work - truly some of the best writing I’ve read all year.
