The Rogue by Trudi Canavan

4.0

Another buddy read!

I throughly enjoyed seeing the ways around the limits of the magic we have come to be very familiar with, by this point. It expanded the dimensions of what could be possible in this world. Exploring more character arcs from different lands added to that excitement as well.

There was one story line of a newly introduced character that I wasn't sure what her purpose would be, but I quickly thought that she'd serve a greater purpose to the story, for the share randomness of her introduction. I'm glad this was explored, as it added extra layers of complexity to the story as well as adding some more potential friendship developments.

I loved seeing the perspective of Lorkin as he navigated around the Traitors hideout and was dumbfounded when I finally recognised the name of a character who had featured in the original trilogy.

Overall, this was, once again, another fun read. So much has developed over the books and I'm really looking forward to how it wraps up in the final installement. I have a feeling I will really miss these characters and Canavan's world building.

Pick it up, give it a go and enjoy! >(^_^)<
