“Poison is what she is to me. Poison that got into my bloodstream, and I can't seem to get rid of it, no matter how hard I try to remove it. The poison remains and creeps its way slowly into my heart, until I want to explode.” ೃ ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚

ೃ — I've been impatiently waiting for Kenzo's story and now it's here! The story revolves around Mayve and Kenzo. Maybe is a timid, shy woman who does everything in her power to stay in the background, until one night when she comes into contact with a blast from her past. Kenzo was only going on about his life, doing his job, when he comes across a woman with wicked eyes that he could just not let go of.

First of all, I had so much fun reading the whole series. I adored all of the Hunter Brothers. But Kenzo was really my favorite, and the one who piqued my interest. I loved the fact that he hates people, doesn't like being around them, but when it comes to Mayve, he's completely the opposite. I also loved Mayve in any ways possible, her quirkiness is so freaking adorable. Plus, the fact that she talks to herself in her head, but actually saying that words out loud without her realizing made me laugh. I am so addicted with their hilarious banters. They were both completely opposite, but they were so perfect for each other. Everything about this book was amazing, and I can't find a reason to hate it. I would sound biased about this, but I would like it to have more special chapters or additional books about the Hunter Brothers, because I don't want their stories to end. This is literally my most favorite dark romance series and I absolutely devoured every part of it.
