This was terrible.
I am all for dark romance but this wasn’t a romance, it was straight up abuse. The MMC was too obsessive and possessive it was clearly a mental illness.
The FMC had a rough childhood and because of that she was vulnerable and this man straight up took advantage of her. And she fell for him even after realising how mentally ill he is which didn’t feel true to her character. After having the strength to survive that long on her own to then give it all up for some abusive guy !? Come on.
The writing was not great. The romance was non existent and there was no tension just insta love on his part.
I will not be reading the next book.
