The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

5.0

Actually, this was one of the first books I read in English. I remember that I found it so difficult to learn the meaning of the word "sophomore" and I had to look it up again and again.

As for the book, I really enjoyed it and it remains one of my favorite YA books of all time. Although I saw the movie prior to reading the book I enjoyed them both, even though there were some clues on the book about some things going on that there wern't/ I didn't get in the movie.

The perks of being a wallflower touches a lot of difficult subjects that however people and especially teenagers should be aware of and talk about.
