This was honestly only halfway decent...I probably should have known that before I even started reading it, since Brendan Fraser is only cast as characters from halfway decent book adaptations. Honestly, the pace was just WAY TOO SLOW for me, and I didn't even finish it because I didn't connect enough with the characters to care about what ended up happening to them. Overall: overhyped.
