All Murderbot wants to do is watch their soaps from the feed. It's just a shame that giant space worms, humans, and other SecUnits like Murderbot get in the way of that. Sometimes it's a shame to have to do your actual job.
All Systems Red is a book about doing what you need to do despite not wanting to. Murderbot, while being a killing machine, is a jaded and highly relatable character. This is a diary log of how the cyborg gets their freedom and the perils that happened along the way.
