the book was fast paced and very easy to get into, the illustrations was top notch and really added to the story. For a thriller the word magical and enchanted was not what I expected, it made the book feel as if it's fantasy, supernatural and thriller, rather than just supernatural and thriller.
The plot was so predictable, as soon as I started reading I just knew who were the culprits. I hated how the Maxwell's forced a false gender identity on a child, it made my blood boil..... However the book ended exactly how I wanted it to and I very much enjoyed the book. 4 / 5⭐
