All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
5.0
I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK.
It didn't reinvent the wheel.. It didn't need to. I felt the emotions of every character in this book - I want to pick most of them up and give them a giant hug and a bagel! The time jumps kept me guessing at every turn, and the transitions between Werner's narrative and Marie-Laure's worked in really well without seeming forced. The background characters were just as strong as our two leads - I loved the fierce spirits of Frederick, Jutta, Etienne and Madame Manec.
