I'm really glad that Suzanne Collins wrote a book for Haymitch and his Hunger Games, she truly is one of the few authors who can write a pre-sequel(?) ten years later and make it just as good as the original books. This book was definitely on the slower side for me, but I'm glad it was because it gave us a chance to encapsulate his story and experience. Admittedly, it was a bit predictable, but I have to attribute most of that to my having read the trilogy and knowing what to expect from Collins. Otherwise, I loved this book, and I think Collins should write books for every single Hunger Games cause I would read them all.
