Liana De La Rosa knocked it out of the park! I adored this book and I especially like how Liana manages to address cultural taboos (dark skin/indigenous heritage) and generational traumas.Did I want to smack the characters upside the head, YES! But the FMC managed to learn to love herself without the need of a man. Instead via sisterly bonding she learned her own self worth! As with the previous book in this series it is more than just a fluffy historical romance it has substance!
