I loved Six of Crows, so I went straight into Crooked Kingdom. Since Crooked Kingdom picks up the story only a few days after the events of Six of Crows, a reader goes straight into action with hardly any build-up. It's just one major event or heist after another. I still really enjoyed the story. And the ending was one of the best I've read in a long time. But be prepared for a very action-packed book.
