This book was a refreshing and interesting take on mafia romances. A lot of mafia romances I read are so serious but Huntington was able to add in humor to the story that added a little something to it. Oh my word, did I thoroughly enjoy Asher Black, the story and the man. I loved his ruthlessly and vulnerability. I loved his protectiveness. I loved his sweetness. I loved the strength he brought out of Lucy, who turned out to be a bad ass in her own way. Simply put, the man just swooned me to the floor. This is my first book by Parker S. Huntington and I’m already excited to go back for more.
