i’ve never read a book and thought it was smart but the whole i read this i was thinking how clever and well done this was. it so easily transitioned from lighthearted dialogue with tongue in cheek lines about these characters places in the world to beautiful descriptions of just wanting to be home. and the fact that it was written as a screenplay only improved the delivery of every theme
