Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators by Ronan Farrow

5.0

My assistant sent me a message on Voxer this week, starting the day at work, and I had to say back, “I can’t start working because I am listening to this book and it is RIVETING.”

She said she’s listened to this book 3 times.

We help employees stop sexual harassment at work without losing their jobs, so this book is right up our alley.

It’s interesting because in what I like to call the Hierarchy of Creep, I would actually categorize Weinstein as a heavy handed brutality creeper, rather than the high skill virus creeper.

But in the end if you’re a creeper you’re a creeper I guess. Although, when we get situations where the creeper owns someone’s house, is their boss, and is some kind of religious leader or medical provider for them, it’s like they’re putting in some effort to be exceptionally creepy on a deep level.

The Trump/Weinstein type brutality creeper just seems like a giant baby.

Maybe, now that I’m writing this, it’s not that useful to distinguish brutality creep from virus creep? But that’s how I see it.

Anyway this book is so riveting. The women who created this movement are true heroes.

Don’t be a creeper.
