Overall I would give this series 4 stars. It was very unique and the plot kept me interested enough to read all 5 books a day. I think Lana Myers’s character was well thought out and the aspect of found family in such a demented storyline was a good contrast. Something I wish was different was a lot of Logan and Lana’s relationship.
First of all, I feel like we knew nothing about Logan. His only character trait was being oblivious and protective of Lana. Had he had more of a background/story (at least one that was more detailed) I think I would’ve liked his relationship with Lana a lot more. I’m not a fan of the insta-love in this book, and their relationship felt very plain and had a lack of spark?? At one point I was even rooting for Lana and Hadley to get together. On the subject of Hadley, I did not like how her sexuality was discussed and handled. Particularity how both Lana and Logan kept insisting to label her (as a lesbian) when she clearly made it known to both of them that she wasn’t a lesbian and was still confused about her sexuality!!! Labelling is not necessary and should never be pushed on to someone, especially when they haven’t figured everything out. The reveal felt anticlimactic, I wish there was more of an internal struggle on Logan’s side, but in general I’m happy with the ending.
ALSO THE SMUT COULVR BEEN BETTER JUST SAYING
