Ugh. Just as absolutely beautiful as I expected. This book TORE ME APART several times.

Honestly, I can’t think of that much to say about it, other than I was a little worried because of how much that I loved the first one, that the second one couldn’t live up to it. I am so glad I was wrong.

This author is SO talented, I’ll have to read more from her, if only to find out if this one duology was just something special that can never be matched or replicated in quality, magic, and splendor, or if she’s truly just an absolute icon and mastermind.

The relationships were SO well-built through this one and (in some cases), the last that I was feeling for these characters as if they were my own best friends and family. The ending had me SOBBING in the best way, and I’ve a feeling I’ll be thinking about this book for quite some time. But, I KNOW I’m better for having experienced it.
