I'm honestly a little speechless... This book had everything! Friendship, found family, love, humour, murder and even ghosts! My poor sad sunshine boy, Callum has gone through it! From the first page you're slapped in the face with his traumatic past, and how he became what he is today. But even so, you don't get all the puzzle pieces (as he doesn't have them either and we looove an unreliable narrator!). I just wanted to wrap him in a blanket, spoon feed him soup and tell him he was loved 🥹😭 The way the relationship grew from reluctantly stalked to inseparable was só beautiful to witness.
By the 80% mark it felt like almost everything was resolved, and that always gives me anxiety because you just KNOW something is still going to happen. And it DID. My heart broke for Naomi and I hope Vox can help her through it.
The art was a really nice touch btw, and made this story come to life even more! It is hella spicy, even though it's a semi-slow burn, they more than make up for it. 🥵
Definitely recommend this, BUT check your triggers!! I read a lot of dark stuff and even I had to take a couple of breaths every once in a while.
