56 Days by Catherine Ryan Howard

I devoured this book! Such a cool concept. It was the perfect mashup between a romance and a crime/thriller novel. Even though I knew Ciara and Oliver's romance was doomed from the beginning, I was still rooting for them, wondering all the time what happened to them which just kept me turning the pages. I didn't expect any of the twists, which were deeply satisfying. And I loved how the author used the setting-the early days of the Covid pandemic in Ireland-to full effect. It was so weird to revisit those days. It's amazing it only happened a short time ago.
