This was a fun informative read as it discussed a lot of women I had not heard of. I adored the large two-page illustrations at the conclusion of each woman's chapter. I didn't really understand the choice in how the book was laid out though. There didn't seem to be any real decision in how we moved from one woman to the next, it felt very random. The book could jump centuries or just a few decades between one woman discussed to the next.
