One of the easiest five stars I’ve ever given. This book is just spectacular. Rick really popped off. The conclusion of this five book series just worked SO WELL in terms of character development and plot. Not only did the main characters have personable and meaningful “endings” (they’ll be back though lol) all of the side characters has such substantial and important roles, from Charles Beckendorf to Silena to Travis and Connor Stoll. The plot was explained so thoroughly that it was so easy to understand what was going on and how it connected to previous books. The connections with Luke’s mom and the Oracle and Rachel were so good and so many loose ends tied up so nicely. Even though the scope of the story was so broad in terms of the war, it felt so personal with Luke and May and the themes of godly parents and abandonment. Hestia, “The Last Olympian” was heartwarming and homely and ugh just ugh Ioved every aspect of this book. Percabeth is my OTP and the ending made my heart clench. What an amazing book that concluded Percy Jackson and the Olympian’s so well, and set up the next series just as well. I LOVE THIS BOOK.
