Popular podcaster, Alix Summer, crosses paths with Josie Fair, a plain, unassuming woman when they happen to be celebrating their 45th birthdays in the same pub. Between podcast episodes, Josie entices Alix saying she’s facing major life changes. 
Quickly Alix finds herself entrapped with Josie in her Birthday Twin podcast. Worse yet, she doesn't really know who Josie is, the secrets she’s been hiding or how she drew her in with to her web of lies. 
This book came highly recommended by the 52 Books in 2025 group and it DID NOT disappoint!!
The writing was enthralling; the story, combined with the podcast and Netflix series created a sticky web of secrets, in which the reader found themselves stuck. 
The creativity of character development, podcasting each characters story allows the reader to draw their own conclusions;  determine character reliability and leaves you pondering the web of lies and deceit.
