This was a great first read of 2022. I really enjoy the magical aspects of Webber's novels, it reminds me of Alice Hoffman and Sarah Addison Allen, and adds to her story. While most of the book is based in reality, these hints of magic bring an extra layer to her novels. I also like how the novel focused on love but not always romantic love; the love that you have in a family is just as important as the love that you have with a partner. The ending was perfect, I don't want to spoil anything but it made the book go from 3 to 4 stars for me.
