Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing by Matthew Perry
dark
emotional
hopeful
sad
medium-paced
I don’t feel right giving this a star rating.
A devastating memoir - especially now that Matthew has passed. Like everyone else is saying, I don’t know if I’ll be able to watch Friends reruns agains without thinking of him making the whole world laugh while quietly fighting for his life. Rest in peace.
On a lighter note, fighting the future PM Justin Trudeau and ending the book with anecdote about the Stanley Cup Playoffs is the MOST Canadian kid thing ever.
