Here I am again to ramble about how addicted to this series I am. It has been a really great way to get out of my reading slump I was in over the holidays. The bookworm in me has been given life once again and this has now been added to the shelf of my favorites.

This is the second book in the series and it picks up directly where we left off in book one. I’m not going to be delving into major details in order to avoid spoilers as this is a series. I love the different relationships and dynamics between the characters. The twins of course showing the importance of sisterhood and friendship, and the rivalry between them and the heirs is just getting started. We mainly focus on the perspectives of the twins throughout, though we do get a few chapters from the heirs pov, which just solidifies the book as a whole. What really did it for me though, was seeing the twins grow into their own, truly they are becoming more fae (and badass) as the books go on. I ~might~ have a favorite character already, though I’m trying to hold off until I get further in.

Overall, I continue to obsess over this series. I love the characters a lot, their dynamics and morally grey personalities make it a fast and fun read that leaves you aching to see what will happen next. The romance plots can feel a little slow, what with a slow-burn bully romance, but the crumbs we are given are definitely worth the build-up for what we are sure to see in the next books.
