After a few hours of deliberation with just myself, I decided to give this a 3 ⭐️ for 3 reasons;
1. The execution was a little bit bland. The plot didn't have that enough build up for me making it a little bit dragging and not really convincing most of the times.
2. The writing pretty much needed improvement and I noticed a few contradicting parts along the way such as the heroine's eyes that was mentioned to be blue quite a lot in story but in the cover looks black (or I might be forgetting a few things or missed something??) But yes, the eyes.
3. The romance didn't have that enough burn for me, and I would say I couldn't feel any chemistry between the leads for like almost in whole parts of the book.
The characters did have traits and personalities that I did like so, I think that makes up my enjoyment in this book as well as the combination of mythical creatures that I find interesting.
Overall, I think this is a decent 1st installment of the series and yes, I'll surely will read the next installment ✨️
