Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
by J.K. Rowling
"No good sittin' worryin' abou' it," he said. "What's comin' will come, an' we'll meet it when it does."
It's been 6 years since the last time I reread this book. This year, I decided to say a big "screw you" to the big number of unread books I've been hoarding and go back to my favourite place in the world, Hogwarts, for the millionth time.
And honestly, I'm so glad I did. And I'm so glad I read that line of Hagrid now. Because life is being a bi*ch here. And the only certain thing about future is that it's gonna be full of shit, and that none of us is gonna any future at all.
So, in the past few days, I drowned myself in this book, reading as much as I could, trying to ignore the hopelessness and dread I've been feeling and repeating to myself that what's coming will come, and we'll meet it when it does.
And once again, books proved to be one of the rare things that keep me sane and help me survive.
