This was a retelling of And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Although I had never read ATTWN, in which this book was based, I still enjoyed the story. I am a fan of closed-circle mysteries (I think that's the term that applies to this story), so that helps, but I just needed more from this story that a YA novel can't provide. I was pleasantly surprised by the gore factor and I didn't guess the ending. So those are points in favor of this story.
Overall, the plot didn't go as far as I needed it to and I would be liked it more, probably, if it weren't YA. So basically, I just need to read the original by Agatha Christie.
