Amazing. Absolutely insane to build a book this layered in catholic philosophy, modern ideas of evolution, and the history of religion, but it was brilliant. Although, perhaps a bit too niche for a lot of her audience. Regardless, Rice has blown me away again with her beautiful writing and philosophical depth.
