My second S.A. Cosby book didn't disappoint. I liked this a tiny bit less than 'Razorblade Tears' but this was a satisfying and well-paced crime thriller.
Titus Crown, the former FBI agent turned small town Sheriff, is a great main character and his unwavering send of justice is just the foundation that a story like this demands. The characters of Charon County are fleshed out incredibly well and they add to the cinematic quality of S.A. Cosby's writing. I'm not at all surprised that a couple of his books have been optioned for tv and film.
This was exactly what I needed to get out of my mini reading slump.
