Charlie Thorne and the Lost City by Stuart Gibbs

4.0

Like all of Stuart Gibbs' stories, I really liked it. Gibbs is an excellent writer and comes up with interesting and different stories all the time. This second book in the Charlie Throne series takes the reader into the Amazon Jungle. It's extremely well described and it made me wonder if Gibbs hadn't gone to the Amazon (at the end of the book I found out that he had!). So he's created this story from first hand knowledge and it shows.
The story is filled with a "how is she (Charlie) going to get out of that one" and "what will she find" kind of feelings. You'll find it was well worth your investment of time in reading "Charlie Thorne and the Lost City."
