A Midsummer Night's Scheme by Harper Kincaid

4.0

This was such a fun read! This is the second book in the Bookbinding Mystery series. Although I hadn’t read book one, it didn’t seem to matter much and I was able to jump right in. This book was unique in that there were two main characters, and you follow both throughout the book. It was also interesting, as I’ve never read a book where one of the main characters is a nun in training, so that was a fun and different element.

There were quite a few surprises sprinkled throughout the book, which definitely kept the story interesting. The storyline and characters were intriguing and the mystery kept me guessing until the end. I was not expecting the story to end on such an abrupt cliffhanger.

What I liked:

🔸That there were two main characters
🔸The twists and turns in the plot
🔸Kept me guessing
