I’m not sure what exactly is stopping me giving the last .25, I did really enjoy this. I think the classic NK Jemisin “things don’t quite make sense until the final perspective shift makes it all fall into place” didn’t hit quiiiiite as well as some of her other works. Definitely want to read the rest
