This was a solid 3-star book for the majority, but the end took me by surprise, and brought it up to a 4.
I would have liked more from Zaira's perspective, instead of it all being from Amalia's, but it was an interesting choice, making the POV character NOT the powerful one (well, not the magically powerful one, anyway.)
I'll read the next one in the series.
