I missed reading this book (or any of the series) when they initially came out. In fact I don't even remember them coming out. I only heard of the series when the movie came out. I saw it and thought nothing else of it.
Recently I had a few people suggest I give these books a go, because while geared toward a lower reading level, they have a great story. So while at Target, I picked up the first book in paperback. I fully intended to not really like it and be sort of bored. I ended up blazing though it and really enjoying the storyline and the characters. I'm very excited now to pick up the other books in the series and read on!
