I really liked this one, along with all of Talia's books I've read so far. I love the diversity and the romance and chemistry is always really good.
I've guessed from the first book that Eve was probably neurodivergent but it was never confirmed and I learned from this book that she and her family didn't even realize it. So it was nice to get that confirmation but to also see her realize it and digest that information about herself.
I also liked that Jacob was also neurodivergent and he was the one to kind of point out to Eve that she might be as well. I also really liked them as a couple. They really balanced each other out in general along with the grumpy/sunshine troupe.
I do feel like this one was a little lacking in the character growth department compared to Dani's story and the lack of communication kind of didn't make sense for either of their characters in my opinion. Both of them are very open and vocal characters who say what's on their minds so I didn't really think that it made sense for Jacob to not talk about how he was feeling about Eve really. These were minor things though that didn't really affect my enjoyment of the story overall, just some things that I'm thinking about now.
All in all, another great romance book and I hope to read more from Talia in the future.
