i was mostly interested in reading about a grown up hallie carrick and this was such a disappointment. if you're going to change nearly every aspect of their character, why not just invent a new one? I feel like they really did hallie dirty, turned her into an impulsive idiot. and the idea of them being unmarried but sharing a house is so ludicrous but I was so mad about hallie I let that slide
